College Park Industries is pleased to announce Michael M. Amrich Jr., CPO, FAAOP has joined their Clinical Education Department. Amrich will be based in the Liberating Technologies, Inc. office in Holliston, MA. College Park acquired Liberating Technologies in October of 2015. As an upper limb product expert, Amrich will provide education, training, and customer support both domestically and internationally as well as assist in research projects and new product development. Prior to joining College Park, Amrich spent the first 20 years of his career working for Liberty Mutual Medical Service Center in Boston, MA, and was promoted to be their Chief Prosthetist/Orthotist. After Liberty Mutual, Amrich was the Director of Pediatric/Adult Prosthetics for the National Orthotics and Prosthetics Company in Boston, MA, and, most recently, was the Managed Care Director with the FDR Center for Prosthetics and Orthotics in Nashua, NH. Amrich focused clinically in upper limb and partial hand prostheses, congenital limb deficiencies, and osteosarcoma rotationplasty. Amrich received a B.S in Physical Education/Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA and his CPO training and certification through New York University in New York, NY; Northwestern University in Chicago, IL; and University of California in Los Angeles, CA.
