My name is Jim Welch, and I'm a very healthy 47 year old left BK.
About a year ago I was asked if I was interested in doing a testimonial for the TruStep foot. At the time, I didn't even have a working camera in the house, and it just wasn't to be.
A lot has changed since then. The more amps I meet, the more frustrating it is to hear them sound off about their limitations, limitations that I NEVER have to even think about anymore. The difference the TruStep has made in my life is pretty dramatic.
I work as an industrial machine tech., and I'm constantly in, on top of, underneath and moving around machines that are about a hundred feet long. My shifts are 12 hours long. With the TruStep, I'm able to do this with complete confidence, without even a thought, and do it SAFELY and comfortably.
We amps have a saying, "Good components are good, but a good socket is GREAT!" the moment I listened to my pros's suggestion to switch to the TruStep, my socket comfort went sky high! It just "floats" over things that my Flex-Lite couldn't. No more throwing the knee back when I step on a "toe high" situation such as the raised lip of a concrete sidewalk. I just roll over them without a thought.
No more groaning when I see an uphill grade/incline. This thing works so smoothly, that a vast majority of the causes of my socket "problems" turned out not to be the socket at all!
I would only recommend this foot to folks that have a great sense of balance, and need the freedom that the TruStep offers. It is second to none in that respect. I would hesitate however, to imply it may be an option for anyone with balance issues. This is the ultimate "high activity" foot that offers the freedom I dreamed about.
If you are still interested, I would be very proud to tell others what the TruStep has done for me.
