Leading lower-limb prosthetics manufacturer College Park Industries, Inc. announces the recent acquisition of Boston, Massachusetts based Liberating Technologies, Inc., creator of the innovative Boston Digital ArmTM. This new alliance will expand College Park’s product offerings beyond lower-limb prosthetics into upper-limb prosthetics, as well as orthotics and rehabilitation technology.
“This strategic merger was the next logical step in College Park’s continued growth.” said William Carver, Chief Operating Officer for College Park Industries. “Beyond the complimentary product lines, the robust research department at LTI is an exciting area for our engineering team to join forces with. LTI was recently awarded six new government grants and has developed technology that has clear integration with future College Park products.”
William Hanson will stay on as President of LTI and adds over 26 years of industry experience to the College Park management team. “College Park was the right choice for us. Their strength in manufacturing, sales and marketing as well as international distribution will take our current product line and new innovations to the next level.”
